Canadian Small Business Accounting Payroll Free From Kashoo ...

If you haven't seen this yet, there's still time to get in on this: until Februrary 29th, 2012, any Canadian small business can get both their payroll and accounting processes free from Kashoo and PaymentEvolution.

Kashoo is a Vancouver-based provider of small business cloud accounting software, and PaymentEvolution is a Toronto-based payroll services provider. The two companies are "teaming up to bring their respective services to Canadian small businesses in one nifty, integrated package" (press release).

Now I haven't test-driven either of these cloud apps, but they look full-featured. PaymentEvolution, for instance, offers features such as electronic pay slips, online timesheet entry, the ability to do T4s and other forms such as Records of Employment, and can handle mixed payroll.

And Kashoo's small business accounting cloud app is a standard double-entry accounting system which lets you invoice, pay bills, track expenses and prepare financial statements with an intuitive looking interface. You can give people such as your accountant access to your account, and use Kashoo on your Mac, PC or even on your iPad if you like.
