Life University rolls over the Glendale Raptors 42-20

Life University is a graduate school for sport health science, and a national rugby powerhouse. ?Saturday, it beat the Glendale Raptors, who were last year?s national champions in men?s rugby.

The game started well for the defending champs, as James Paterson struck first with a penalty conversion to put the Raptors up 3-0.

But Life U countered with 20-consecutive points before halftime to go up 20-3.

The Raptors? offense was more successful in the second half, but the gap did not close. The final score was Life University 42-20.

Raptors? fans?should take comfort in the fact that this was only a friendly, and the Raptors are currently 3-0 in league play.

But if?that reality?is not enough to console them, hopefully the postgame fireworks did.

?That?s exactly how I foresaw that playing out.? ? Brent W. New | @BrentWilsonNew
