DuBois ? The Penn State DuBois Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Department and the Information Technology Club will hold their 19th Video Game Day in March.
Video Game Day is open to anyone interested in playing video and computer games, and offers participants the opportunity to try the latest games and game systems available.? More than100 computers are networked together for the event, along with a wide variety of gaming consoles including xBox 360s, PS3s, Wiis, and even a retro console area.
?The biggest reason we do this is to offer a fun, safe environment for students and gamers of all ages to get together and play some video games and enjoy themselves,? said event organizer and IST program leader Jason Long.? He noted that Video Game Day is held twice each year, once in the spring, and once in the fall.
Video Game day is planned for 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. March 23, in the DEF Building at Penn State DuBois.? A $5 admission fee covers all gaming, pizza, snacks, and a drink for each participant.? Online registrations are required.? You can log onto www.istlab.net to register.
